The West Hampstead Square Clock Tower has finally arrived! This is the final element to be installed in the new town square, alongside bespoke limestone benches and porphyry paving with limestone bands.

The clock tower was fabricated by M-TEC, specialist achitectural metalworkers and Smiths of Derby, clockmakers since 1856. The tower is corten steel, the hands and numerals are bronze. Both materials were selected for their ability to patinate over time. The corten steel will develop a range of colours before maturing to a deep brown as its surface oxidises. The face is opaque class, illuminated from behind.

Standing 6.5 metres tall the clock tower is a distinctive element in the landscape, adding character to the new public square.
