Ya joined Spacehub in September 2022. She is a Landscape Architect who worked in London and China on projects across a multitude of scales – from international masterplan to exhibitions and installations. She studied Architecture at the University of Sheffield, before completing a master’s degree at the LSE Cities programme.
Ya values the process of interdisciplinary collaboration and public participation throughout the design process. Before joining Spacehub, Ya worked for Gillespies on multiple urban regeneration projects in London, Jersey and internationally.
Driven by her passion for the built environment and place-making, she aspires to investigate the challenges that cities are facing globally through design, writing and competitions. Her works were previously shown at London Festival of Architecture, Beijing Design Week, and Shenzhen/ Hong Kong Bi-City Biennale.
