Violet Blyth

Violet joined Spacehub in January 2024 after graduating with distinction from her Master’s in Landscape Architecture at the University of Sheffield.

Her interests lie in innovative, process-driven designs that foster a deeper connection to the biosphere. During her studies, her major project explored using spontaneous brownfield ecology to re-imagine how monuments are designed and managed in the context of climate change. This project challenged the conventional approach of preserving monuments in a static state, instead advocating for designs that embrace and reflect transformation.

Before pursuing landscape architecture, Violet studied at the Glasgow School of Art. Her background brings an artistic approach to all her landscape designs, emphasising site specificity, enrichment of people, and culture-led design that resonates with the surrounding community.
