Rosie Sargen

Rosie joined Spacehub in 2017 and has over 8 years’ experience in practice – both in public and private sectors.

A talented designer, she likes to draw upon unique site qualities to deliver dynamic landscapes. Rosie is fascinated by planting design and how it can transform urban spaces; her horticultural expertise is combined with enthusiasm for designing playful schemes defined by strong planting characters.

She has been responsible for the management and delivery of planning applications and detailed construction packages for many projects across a wide range of scales, including Folkestone Seafront and Edward Street Quarter, Brighton. She is also a keen illustrator, using her artistic ability to communicate the experience and atmosphere of a place.

Rosie is an Alumni of Public Practice, where she was Landscape Officer for Epping Forest District Council. There she led the publication of the EFDC Green Infrastructure Strategy and worked to improve design quality in upcoming strategic masterplans across the District.

Rosie also holds a place on Urban Design London’s Environmental Design Panel.
