Monica Chong

Monica holds a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL, and has experience in design, research, and community engagement.

She believes that landscape architecture plays a pivotal role in advancing social equity and environmental goals. In her academic projects, she actively explored the intersection of landscape architecture and activism, probing into how design can foster environmental stewardship and civic participation.

Prior to her postgraduate studies, Monica worked as an Assistant Landscape Designer and a Teaching and Research Assistant in Hong Kong. She approaches design from an interdisciplinary perspective, integrating her interests in the arts, cultural history, and social sciences into her creative process.

Driven by a passion for equity and environmentalism, Monica is committed to delivering design solutions that are both environmentally responsive and socially empowering.
