Ben Keene

Ben holds a Master’s in Landscape Architecture from the University of Greenwich. He has a keen interest in the relationships between people and environment. He brings a sensitive approach to landscape analysis and design integration. His Master’s thesis, shortlisted for the 2023 Landscape Institute Dissertation Award, explored the use of temporary urbanism in response to growing climate uncertainty and projected rise in human migration.

Ben has worked on a range of projects at his former practice, Gillespies, and as a Landscape Representation tutor at the University of Greenwich. He works with Master’s students to develop their visual communication and graphic representation.

With a commitment to interdisciplinary collaboration, community engagement and the pursuit of environmentally conscious solutions, Ben creates meaningful, people and process-driven designs for our clients that push discipline boundaries and form spaces that foster positive user engagement.
