St Alphage Gardens takes shape!

St Alphage Garden’s is the final jigsaw piece of a sequence of open spaces that includes London Wall Place and Salter’s Garden. We love seeing our ideas materialize and we’re really excited that the gardens are now nearing completion!

Working alongside the City of London, Spacehub have worked from concept through to construction to rejuvenate and modernize the old gardens. Our brief was to sensitively bring the gardens in line with the London Wall Place works whilst maintaining it’s special historic character and identity as a City of London open space.

The whole gardens are registered as a schedule ancient monument and as part of works the Roman and Medieval Wall has been carefully restored in order to remove it from Historic England’s Heritage at risk register.
