We have designed a landscape appropriate to this unusual mixed-use development set at the heart of the Hackney Wick Masterplan. Its mix of residential and commercial workspace serves a population of artists and makers, and includes a café. The development centres around two new yard spaces, one of which is public and the other is semi-private. Large amenity roof terraces offers residents areas to play, grow food and relax. The landscape design sensitively bridges the mix of old and new construction, including site-won materials reclaimed from demolished industrial buildings.
