This is an ambitious vision with a time-scale of 20 years aimed at giving a new image and purpose to an area that has suffered ad hoc development since World War Two. The masterplan seeks to create a suitable home for the knowledge-based industries that are succeeding the traditional manufacturing companies. Our masterplan re-orientates the 450 acre estate around a central core and a series of satellite hubs, creating an attractive and legible place in which businesses can work. By increasing the density of the development we have been able to liberate land for open space. This, along with our adherence to principles of sustainability, will create a civilised and resilient work place for the decades to come. The first phase of the masterplan was consented in 2011 and development has now commenced.
