Spacehub are delighted to be working with an enthusiastic and collaborative client team on this is the first pilot project by UKR, which aims to create a different way of providing private rented housing. This new approach includes a new attitude to shared space, putting the emphasis on places that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, at all stages of life. The landscape is to play a vital role in engendering a sense of community both for residents and those in nearby areas. Our design creates three main spaces: a village square; a tree-lined home-zone street and a series of gardens, providing everything from play space to allotments for growing food.
