Spacehub were commissioned by Resolution Property to develop the landscape concept for the Programme office space in central Bristol. A key aspect of the design brief was to activate the functional car park podium into a usable and attractive external space for the building tenants.

The external space has been divided into 3 character areas which cater for different activities associated with the building. The ‘Games Yard’ provides space for a variety of games, whilst the ‘Car PARK’ sets out an area to host pop up events, relax and work outdoors through provision of planting in containers, seating and tables. The third space, the ‘Loading Bay, is associated with the main entrance and public café which provides the central working ‘hub’ identity for the building.

The three external spaces together are tied together with a colourful surface treatment combining the graphics of a ‘carpark’ with the iconic colourful houses visible from Bristol Harbour.
