Fleet Street Hill is a co-living project delivering 230 high-quality co-living homes and affordable family homes in Shoreditch designed by Spacehub in collaboration with Morris + Company Architects.

The project creates new public spaces – the Big Yard, Little Yard and a play garden that connect people, nature, and the surrounding community. These vibrant communal spaces are framed by trees, rain gardens, and flexible seating, while the Play Gardens offer natural and exploratory play opportunities.

Drawing inspiration from the site’s past as a nomadic community garden, our design celebrates spontaneous nature. A new pedestrian pathway enhances movement linking to the Local park, Allen Gardens and on to Brick Lane, weaving the development into the local London Borough Tower Hamlets Green Grid network. The design features biodiverse planting, enhanced lighting and wayfinding, and curated murals that celebrate the local character. This welcoming, dynamic landscape invites community use and supports wildlife, creating a resilient, layered, and engaging environment.
