This relatively modest residential development beside the Regents’ Canal will create new waterside public realm. It will take advantage of the biodiversity of the canal in an area that is not rich in green space, using native and ornamental plants to create a rich and biodiverse environment. At the same time, the landscape makes reference to the various ironworks that were previously on the site, with a particular focus on the retained chimney which is a key local landmark. There will be generous play provision throughout the scheme, encouraging both children and adults to explore it while providing new pedestrian links to the waterfront.
