Spacehub are excited to have another project progressing on site as landscape works commence at West Hampstead Square, a mixed use development for a Ballymore Properties and Network Rail joint venture.
West Hampstead Square is situated on a challenging site, constrained between railway lines with a single point of access from a busy road. Our design provides 0.6 hectares/1.5 acres of new open space. The open space includes: a new town square, communal woodland gardens, a productive garden, residential podium gardens and a wildlife garden.
Features to watch out for include a 200-metre-long planted border, a corten clock tower in the new town square and a 6-metre-high ‘insect hotel’.
The project is due to be completed this year, so there will be lot to update you on over the next few months!
