We are delighted that the Mayor of London has approved the proposals for The Goodsyard. The Goodsyard represents a unique opportunity to deliver significant and special new public realm to this neighbourhood. The design of the public realm and landscape for The Goodsyard builds on the principles of the masterplan and is founded on the historic fabric of The Bishopsgate Goods Yard. The design narrative respects, reflects and re-interprets the unique heritage of the site. A bustling urban realm of streets and lanes at ground level is contrasted by a green oasis at platform level, where a series of interlinked gardens and open spaces stretch from Shoreditch High Street to Brick Lane.
