From Industrial past to Creative Future

‘Goodluck Hope’, the southern part of Ballymore’s London City Island regeneration is inspired by the site’s rich history of global trading that dates back to the 13th century and by it’s more recent colonisation by artists and creatives. The newly completed marketing suite is located in one of the few historic warehouses remaining on site and features a stripped back structural frame punctuated by substantial palm trees, and a courtyard reminiscent of the smithy that used to be located on site. Within the courtyard is an impressive 1:150 scale model of the London City Island proposals. The site’s industrial past and creative future has inspired our robust functional riverside landscape.
